New Skincare Products That Will Give Your Routine a Spring Refresh
It’s a brand new month, which means that a new round of products is making its way onto store websites and into our medicine cabinets. These are the products Skincare.com’s editors can’t live without this April.

I incorporated the Milk-Peel Toner into my routine when I had been dealing with consistent maskne on my chin, jawline and around my mouth. Fast forward to a few weeks later and my skin is the clearest it's been since before face masks were a thing. I’m convinced it’s all thanks to this gentle exfoliating formula. It contains LHA, a derivative of salicylic acid, emollients and almond milk to clear pores and smooth and nourish skin. I use it every morning (and have yet to experience any irritation) followed by a lightweight hydrating serum, moisturizer and SPF.

I’ve always struggled with skin dullness and lately I’ve been reaching for this formula with antioxidants derived from bitter oranges, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid to target that concern. I use it at night after cleansing and before moisturizer, then again in the morning after I cleanse and tone. My skin has noticeably changed — it’s brighter, less dull when I wake up and more even-toned in general.
My lips have been victim to peeling, dryness and flakes over the past couple of months, so I love to slather them in a rich lip butter. This super moisturizing formula with avocado, shea butter and peptides has been a real lip-saver, to say the least. It keeps my lips super soft, smooth and flake-free. My favorite part is that it also makes my lips look fuller, more plumped and contoured, too.

I have oily skin and suffer from the occasional breakout, so I was excited to try this vitamin C serum infused with silymarin (also known as milk thistle extract). After cleansing my face in the morning, I applied four drops of the product onto my skin and patted it in to make sure it was completely absorbed before following up with a sunscreen. I found that my skin was less oily throughout the day and I didn’t need to reach for my blotting papers nearly as much as I usually do — a total win in my book!

Not only is my skin type changing as I get older, but I’m noticing that my pores appear larger and my complexion is rougher. This new treatment is easily becoming my re-firming and retexturizing go-to. When I apply it at night, my skin immediately feels smoother and soft and I don’t wake up with slick spots around the bridge of my nose and forehead the way I do with some night creams. It’s even mild enough to use on days after I get a peel and it helps bring moisture back to my dry skin. I’m so excited to see what effect it has on the small wrinkles trying to make their way onto my face as I continue to use it.
